Welcome to VisibilOT, where we're dedicated to supporting individuals with chronic conditions and invisible disabilities. We offer telehealth occupational therapy services to residents of Tennessee, and virtual coaching and educational services nationwide. Our mission is to empower clients to improve function and quality of life by providing holistic care tailored to their unique needs. At VisibilOT, we believe that everyone deserves to live a life of meaning, balance, and fulfillment, regardless of the challenges they face.
We specialize in helping clients manage conditions like long COVID, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, POTS, EDS, and other invisible disabilities. Through evidence-based strategies and compassionate care, we focus on improving daily functioning and building sustainable routines that honor your health and well-being.
We also aim to bring awareness to the experiences of those living with invisible illnesses, advocating for better understanding and support within the broader community. Whether it’s through one-on-one therapy, coaching, educational initiatives, or our VisibilOT Podcast, we’re here to make invisible disabilities visible.
Dr. Lisa Hamilton is the founder of VisibilOT and a dedicated occupational therapist with a passion for supporting individuals living with chronic conditions and invisible disabilities. A graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Lisa earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, where she completed her doctoral capstone focusing on the vital role of occupational therapy in long COVID rehabilitation.
In addition to her expertise as an occupational therapist, Lisa is an Oxygen Advantage Certified Functional Breathing Instructor, which she integrates throughout her practice to help clients improve their breathing patterns and manage stress, fatigue, and chronic conditions more effectively.
Through her personal and professional experiences, Lisa has witnessed firsthand how misunderstood and overlooked individuals with chronic conditions and invisible disabilities often are. This has fueled her commitment to advocating for this population, providing compassionate, evidence-based care, and empowering her clients to lead meaningful, fulfilling lives.
In addition to her work at VisibilOT, Lisa is the host of the VisibilOT Podcast, where she raises awareness, educates the community, and connects with leading subject matter experts to explore the complexities of invisible disabilities. She is committed to fostering understanding among healthcare providers, encouraging better care and advocacy for those who need it most.
Lisa’s approach to therapy is rooted in the principles of occupational therapy, emphasizing patient-centered care that honors each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Her mission is to help her clients improve quality of life and function while feeling seen and valued every step of the way.
